Frequently asked questions

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ starts at 30 units per design across our standard catalogue, with 5 units minimum per colour variant. Ready-stock pieces can be ordered as single units. For Private Label / OEM programs, MOQ is set per program after the brief.

What are your lead times?

Standard catalogue: 25–45 days from confirmed order, depending on construction, leather, and program volume. Private Label / OEM: 45–75 days including sampling. Ready-stock pieces ship in 3–7 days. Final timing is confirmed in writing on every quotation.

Where are your products made?

Every FRAYDA piece is cut, stitched, edge-painted, and finished in Tuscany — primarily at our Firenze atelier in the Santa Croce district, and at our secondary site for travel and larger formats. We do not subcontract production outside Italy.

What leathers do you work with?

Full-grain calf, pebbled calf, saffiano, suede, and waxed canvas with full-grain trim. All hides come from Tuscan tanneries (Santa Croce sull'Arno area) with LWG-rated environmental certifications. Custom materials are quoted per program.

Do you offer Private Label or OEM programs?

Yes. We work with brands on Private Label (your brand on our patterns), OEM (your design, our manufacturing), and ODM (full development from your brief). Each program is documented with material specs, an approved sample, written QC requirements, and territory / exclusivity terms.

Can I see and approve a physical sample before production?

Yes — sampling is part of every wholesale and Private Label program. We send a physical sample (or two iterations for OEM) to the buyer's address. Production starts only after the sample is signed off in writing.

What is your pricing structure?

Prices on our site are indicative trade prices for catalogue pieces. Final pricing is confirmed by quote, factored on volume, leather grade, customisations, packaging, and shipping terms. Programs over 200 pcs usually access tier pricing. We do not retail directly from the site.

What shipping terms (Incoterms) do you use?

Default is DAP (Delivered at Place) within the EU, EXW Firenze for non-EU buyers, with FCA / CIF available on request. We work with established freight forwarders for sea and air. Insurance and customs documentation included on every shipment.

Do you offer exclusivity or territory rights?

For Private Label and ODM programs, yes — written exclusivity by territory and / or channel is part of the standard contract terms. Catalogue wholesale is non-exclusive unless agreed otherwise.

How do I start an inquiry?

Use the Contact page or message us on WhatsApp. Buyers based in Italy can also visit the showroom by appointment. Average first reply is 12 minutes during trade-desk hours (Mon–Sat, 09:00–19:00 CET).
